    Spend time on marketing EVERY week!

    How much quality time do you currently dedicate to new customer acquisition? If you do not already, you should set aside an hour every week to solely discuss how you are going to achieve new revenue streams. Firstly you must pull together a wish list of the type of customers you would like to source. Then you need to work out how and where to communicate the benefits of your salon to these groups of potential customers. Where do these people hang out? What publications do they read? Where can I meet them in person and hand deliver a voucher to them? Prepare written action plans on what needs to happen to connect to these people and achieve your goals.

    This is a hugely important step, and even just by introducing this new step into your working life, your business should take a huge leap forward in the coming weeks and months.
